We work with social entrepreneurs, women, farmers, tribals, and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, along with 9 partners.
45 million+ women in India were living under extreme poverty, highlighting the gender disparity in poverty levels.
53% of farm households earn less than the poverty line income and 82% of farmers being small and marginal.
8 million+ youths enter India's labor market annually. In 2023, 42.3% of graduates under 25 were unemployed, highlighting the need for effective job creation strategies.

A lifelong learner
In 2013, inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and President APJ Kalam's Pura Model, Prof Doc Ramkrishna resigned from his corporate job and embarked on a journey across rural India, documenting the untold stories of rural heroes through his Rural Call blog. Though circumstances led him back to corporate work in 2015, his heart remained anchored in rural India. In March 2022, after years of professional experience, Ramkrishna once again took the bold step to resign and founded Pioneer Udyam Academy LLP - Powered by Roxbourg, Switzerland, and Gram Pukar Foundation in 2024, with the vision to serve as a catalyst for rural empowerment.

Over the years, Ramkrishna has mentored more than 175 rural entrepreneurs, helping them build impactful businesses that drive sustainable growth in their communities. Academically, he is an MBA and DBA, with a Gold Medal and 100% scholarship from Roxbourg, Switzerland, demonstrating his dedication to lifelong learning. As a TEDx speaker and author of Dots Will Connect, his thought leadership continues to inspire individuals across India.

Ramkrishna has traveled to 18 states and participated in 6 Shodh Yatras organized by Sristi Innovation, further solidifying his commitment to grassroots innovation and rural development. His leadership and unwavering passion are transforming the landscape of rural entrepreneurship and creating lasting change in India's underserved communities.
